For over 75 years, Camp Arrah Wanna has held a unique role in the life story of countless people throughout the Northwest. It has become an extraordinary place to meet and experience God, establish lifelong friendships, develop young leaders, and so much more. As we look ahead and consider how we might ensure an even greater impact over the next 75 years, it has become abundantly clear that we must address our greatest current shortcomings: outdated facilities and insufficient staffing to meet current and future goals.
Because we have the desire to welcome ALL campers, we intentionally keep our rental and registration costs as low as possible. In order to carry forward the legacy of this special place and its program, we depend on generous financial donations and volunteer hours from our loyal supporters. Every capital project, camper scholarship, and a few operational elements are made possible by people who love this place enough to invest in its history and its future through their donations.
Who made it possible?
In addition to operating funds during slow months, our second largest need is to raise funds to finish replacing the Maintenance Shop that burned down July 14, 2024.
Most of the site has been prepped, new access driveway has been cut, and the first shop building is getting dried in. Our facilities Director, Sean, is very thankful to be moving operations OUT of his garage and driveway! We have a LONG way to go before we can say the project is complete, but it's a blessing to see the progress.
Our 2025 Fall Gala focused on raising funds and support for the CAW Programs we offer throughout each year - specifically building on the "Character at Camp" initiative we began in 2024. Your contributions will help us provide more Camper Scholarships, strengthen and expand our Program infrastructure, and make it possible to update activity offerings for our fabulous campers!

Did you know we expanded our property? Thanks to some generous investors, this beautiful house was purchased for CAW to use as a much-needed Administration Building.
Now comes the fun part - buying out the investors! Will you help us raise $600,00 in the next 5 years so we can call it 100% ours?

What's next?
December & January are months when Camp Arrah Wanna's income slows to a trickle - partially because it's just not a popular time of year for overnight retreats, but also because we purposefully take advantage of the much-needed break from on-call services.
Our staff members often work overtime February-November, so this important slow-down is a rare opportunity to spend time with family and loved ones. The catch is that CAW's cash flow also slows down. Although we budget and plan for this time of year, it is still a bit nerve-racking.
Giving Tuesday is an annual global day of generosity that occurs on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving - a movement that encourages people to give back to their communities through charitable acts, which can in include donating money, volunteering time, or performing random acts of kindness.
This year, we hope you consider making a donation to Camp Arrah Wanna in honor of Giving Tuesday!
